October 2019 Meeting Report

I can say we watched the following (18 mins 41 secs) which is comfortably under 20 mins

Hey!  Is that a small moon I see before me?

October 2019 teaser

We are having short film screens this month and next - your fav short film, possibly from YouTube  Nothing over 15 mins (could be longer depending how good it is, maybe 20 mins but I'm more likely to go along with 15 mins 2 secs.  Which is most likely where we'll stop it no matter how brilliant it is). Home made short films are also most welcome (Oh Man!  I think the worm video ended up in the bin with the cat but I hear that the cat is ok!)

So we'll have Part I this Month & Part II next Month...

And remember it’s not a competition - no one is voting.  It’s just a bit of fun!  :-)

Actually I don't think it has to be on film either.  Have fun!

September 2019 Meeting Report

Philosophy?  Did we go over the top?

Probably...

It's more probable that's it's an Apple product

See you at the meeting next month  :)

August 2019 Meeting Report

It seems like this Month's MACE Meeting will be playing out over 2 Sundays at two different locations (I was going to put it as locals but hey Internet is global, which is hardly local is it?)

This tech crawl is starting today at Moorabbin (Which is, I'm sure, just a short helicopter ride from the centre of Melbourne.  None of us actually own a helicopter.  Which is probably safer anyway.).  And may well end up finishing in Kilsyth in a more or less social fashion.  Let's play it by ear (Thanx Tom, the legacy lives on!  Thanks to everyone involved!)

Just 1618 points away my intended score for this pic!

To be continued(?)...

July 2019 Meeting Report

Click the Link to discover a favorite Atari 2600 (Console) emulator.  Damn missed it by 9 Days!!!!  :(

Maybe we'll get a version for Android, I virtually do all my debugging by hand using the dodgy old Quickoffice app that is no longer supported!  But then how much support do you need to create a text file?  On my mobile phone

June 2019 Meeting Report

A link;

  to someplace else

as we tend to be a much smaller social group (with a talented science group meeting in the room next door)

This post is akin to a stub ready for expansion, we have a lot of those really.

"same picture, different post (hehe)"

June 2019 teaser

Ok, it's like 10 (minutes) past 10:00 am (AEST, Australian Eastern Standard Time) & I'm just putting through the teaser.  It gets like that when you stick your hand up to volunteer & you don't have to punch the time clock (Ok so it's finger print scan on for the start of your shift these days) in order to get paid (at this, when the other(s) is eating up your time)

Having Fun?  You bet!  I've already fired up Space Invaders (Atari 2600) & then fired up Space Invaders (Atari 400) again for a direct comparision.  So we can do that!!!!

Do I need to put a picture in the teaser?  Put your comments in the (No) comments:  section

"Damn it, lost again!  What?  You need to use the 'fire' button!  This isn't at all like Pac-Man"

Is s/he joking (or poking fun at the younger generation) or is s/he really serious??

Hey fashionably late seems to be all the rage

This teaser is going out just before our official meeting start

But I'll still let you in if you're one of those geeks or nerdy types who insists on turning up before the meeting start

The rest I'll see you after 11:00 AM

Speaking of fashionably late here's a video (/EP) released by (Laser) Lotek Style some 30 years after it began...Thanks Tom for sending that one to us from Interstate some months back in March (Scroll Down for a brief meeting report & see that it hasn't been included until now, we can be fashionably late too  ;)  Ok I'm probably milking "fashionably" a Bit too much)
